Prachi Jain is a short story writer, mother of two kids, a cook, a cleaner, an errand girl and your regular girl next door with some unusual habits like blessing each airplane that she sees from her bedroom window until she falls asleep. Weird! Yes, but that comes from her fear of flying.
She has also been a boo-boo healer in the past but she has handed over this responsibility to other moms as her own kids now feel ashamed to use the word ‘boo-boo’.
Her poems and short stories have appeared in Foliate Oak, Goldfinch,Six Sentences and Six Word Memoirs. She hopes to see her name in the Best American Short Stories one day.
